As Winter wreath decorations go, this one is my last and favourite. It’s the epitome of Hygge. Enough said apart from I hope you enjoy my pattern.

Hygge is about intentional living. Those of you know me, know I like to cook and eat. This year our garden produce has enabled me to intentionally connect with it’s yield. I have been more mindful during kitchen preparation, cooking, and eating and it’s meant so much more.
I’ve always fancied foraging for wild edible plants. I have berries at the allotment in the plot and in the hedgerow. I like them because they don’t always require preparation and cooking and, added to vodka or gin they are amazing. It would be great to find nuts and mushrooms too. Our world really is…
We’re going back to play with the fairies today to look for fairy toadstool rings. Where to look:on light soils in mixed woodland and heaths among birch, pine and spruce. They’ve been there since late summer and will be until the first frosts of winter.
We are blessed with some version of a blue sky all year. My Winter wreath section has streaks of a cloudy, rainy sky but with the promise of some crisp winter sun. A reminder of what we’ve had and what will be.
