Wildlife loves leaf litter. As a gardener I like it too. It enriches the soil and gives me mulch. I gather the leaves and pile them at the back of my border. Then I wait and wonder who might enjoy them. That’s a tale for another day. For today let’s concentrate on the rich earth…
