We’re going back to play with the fairies today to look for fairy toadstool rings. Where to look:on light soils in mixed woodland and heaths among birch, pine and spruce. They’ve been there since late summer and will be until the first frosts of winter.
This little fella was following me round last time I was in the garden, hoping I’d made his life a bit easier and had unearthed some worms for him.
Welcome to my 2021 Winter WAL—short for wool-along—it starts on 1November and will run for a month. You can choose from the knit a long(KAL) or crochet a long (CAL). Don’t worry if you’ve not got your suppliestogether by then, there’s plenty of time. This is a group activity, whereseveral knitters or crocheters are working…
Spring wouldn’t be Spring without a daffodil or a poem about them!
